This month I finished up the tileset for a new area in the Shadow World. There’s a few more rooms to be mapped but otherwise it’s done. I have a few more ideas for this world that I’d like to add in, and will only take about a week to implement.

• I am finally, FINALLY ready to release Nocti out into the wild after a little bit of beta testing. I'm going to be sending the file to some friends to see if they can find anything and then I'll upload the files for everyone to enjoy! I still have small things to do like create a list of credits and fix any bugs people find but we're almost.

Due to a… “mishap” I lost some (most) of the assets for the NPC characters I had already made. Losing stuff sucks majorly but after sulking for a bit I used it as an opportunity to redo the sprite bases. I’ve also made assets in chunks that I can mix together to make NPC creating easier on myself.

In February I plan to spend the first half finishing up Shadow world and its own NPCs (that are separate from the human NPC bases), and the later half updating more Jam content. I guess? We’ll see how things go.
